1. Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that Centrify Chatbot & Smart CRM ("Centrify," "we," "our," or "us") holds about you. This includes data sourced from Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, Zalo, and any other channel through which you have contacted a business that uses our platform.

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time, free of charge.

2. What Data We Hold

When you message a business that uses Centrify, we may store:

  • Your public profile information from Facebook or Instagram (name, profile picture, platform-specific user ID)
  • The content of messages exchanged between you and the business
  • Comments you have posted on the business's public posts
  • Any contact information (phone number, email, address) you shared with the business
  • Records of appointments, orders, or other transactions handled through the conversation
  • Technical metadata such as timestamps and message delivery status

3. How to Request Deletion

You have two options:

Option A — Email request (recommended)

  1. Send an email to contact@centrify.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include the following so we can identify your data:
    • Your Facebook or Instagram username (handle), or
    • The name of the business / Facebook Page you contacted, or
    • The phone number or email address you shared in the conversation
  3. State clearly that you are requesting deletion of all your personal data held by Centrify.

Option B — Revoke app permissions on Facebook

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
  2. Find "Centrify Chatbot" in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove. Facebook will notify us, and we will delete the data associated with your Facebook User ID within 30 days.

Note: Option B removes the link between your Facebook account and Centrify. The business you previously contacted may still hold a contact record under another identifier (phone, email). To remove those records too, use Option A or contact the business directly.

4. Processing Time

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. We will email you a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

5. What Happens to Your Data

On deletion, we will:

  • Permanently remove your personal data from our active database
  • Remove your data from operational backups within the standard backup rotation cycle (up to 35 days)
  • Anonymize any aggregate analytics that referenced your data

6. Data We Are Required to Retain

In limited cases, we may retain certain records after a deletion request if required by Vietnamese law, including:

  • Financial or transaction records subject to tax retention requirements
  • Records subject to an ongoing legal hold or investigation

Retained records are isolated and used only for the legal purpose for which they are kept.

7. Deletion of a Business Account

If you are a business using Centrify and wish to close your account and delete all Customer Data your business has processed through the platform, please contact us at contact@centrify.io from the email address registered on the account.
